The Industria Meccanica Bassi Luigi & Co. can rely on the most modern and complete equipment available to ensure the best quality and checking in any phase of production. As e resul, all phases are fully developed and controlled inside the factory:

Six departments have been created to supervise the production line.

  • no. 12 presses, power from 200 to 5,000 tons.
  • no. 11 furnaces for forging and heat treatment, capacity from 1 to 126 cubic/mts. Each furnace is equipped with thermocouples.
  • Portable thermocouples for temperature registration.
  • Dye stamps of 1" to 102" for production of Elbows, Bends, Tees, Reducers and Caps in hot and cold forming.
  • no. 6 fork lifts, loading capacity from 2 up to 30 tons.

Technical Department

The Industria Meccanica Bassi Luigi & Co. can rely on a Technical Department for the design of standard and special fittings, pressure vessels, drams, prefabricated piping components, structural steels, complete skids for petrochemical plants, forced transmission water.

All our fittings are designed according to international rules using both burst test and mechanical calculation.

As to drawing an AutoCad Computer Sysytem is employed while as concerns calculations a Microsoft Excel Computer is used.

The calculations performed by our department are in accordance with the following international rules:
